Samples

  • June 14, 2012: There was heavy rainfall the day prior to this sample being collected. While there was found to be a very high number of coliform bacteria, no E.Coli were found on the plates.

Even though no E.Coli was found on the first samples plates, the much higher level of coliform found suggests that bacterial counts significantly spike after a rainfall event. This is likely due to polluted runoff coming from the surrounding urban environment.
